Does One Moment Define You?

Adam Ropizar (He | They) is not defined by his trauma, but like most Mavens, has used it to improve the lives of others. Adam was a high school student still in the closet, but when his openly gay crush invited him to skip an after-school club meeting, one moment would change everything.

Adam is the executive director of Evolve Campus, which works to radically redefine what sexual violence prevention curriculum looks like on college campuses to be more inclusive of all students. He shared his story during the Power of One Session at our most recent Maven Rising. The Power of One Session is poignant yet often humorous and gives a glimpse of one moment, one action, and one community that influences individual contributions in service to others.
