Project Lead

Maven Leadership Collective is an ideas lab that creates ecosystems of support for queer and trans social impact leaders of color and allies to build just communities with greater ease, agency, and belonging. We provide respite and fortification for change agents who are reimagining ways to thrive in health equity, the arts, civic engagement, and economic independence.

We are looking for a project lead to implement our core professional development initiatives for queer and trans people of color and allies. They will also re-imagine opportunities for expanding our offerings to a digital platform.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate recruitment campaign for online and in-person professional development initiatives; including storytelling and selection of participants
  • Conduct implementation logistics for online and in-person professional development initiatives
  • Design, implement, and analyze impact reporting for online and in-person professional development initiatives
  • Execute content delivery for online and in-person professional development initiatives; including securing session facilitators and producing supplemental educational materials
  • Identify potential community partners to assist in recruitment, storytelling, and implementation
  • Collaborate with Maven team members to produce online and in-person professional development initiatives

What It Takes

  • Significant experience working independently to produce program series in a nonprofit setting
  • Significant demonstrated professional support of queer and trans people of color or possesses a clear understanding of issues related to the professional experience of queer and trans people of color who work in the nonprofit sector
  • Strong written, verbal, and program management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

INDEPENDANT CONSULTANT | 20 HOURS PER WEEK | $35 PER HOUR

Position can work remotely, but will be responsible for implementing in-person activities in Miami
